A Beautiful Heart

Beauty In A Broken Heart

Cardiac arrest? Nah, I see straight through your exposed heart, aware of the blood that drips from your shattered parts.

Waves of painful memories, flashes of hurt, yet amidst it all, beauty rises from the dirt.

No handout, just beatdowns, but no defeat found, even when they left you to drown.

Backstabbed, wounds deep, left in a tomb, but not six feet beneath.

Yearning for perfect love, lust rekindled, stuck in limbo, trust dwindled.

Rejection's all you see, shot down repeatedly, struggling up from the ground, but you'll find victory.

Daily mantra: "Pity me," a sad tale, a hopeless plea.

This is just the sad chapter, not the whole story, glory awaits after, happiness in its full glory.

Breathe in, believe again, life's beauty is yours to attain.

This world's brokenness doesn't define you, loved ones around, remind you.

When doubts cloud your sight, remind yourself, rise to the light.

Not a victim, through these trials, victory, soon a humorous recollection, no longer a mystery.

Hold onto faith, storms shall pass, find beauty in the ashes at last.
